VIDEO: The entire length of Sprague Avenue

Posted By on Wed, May 14, 2014 at 5:46 PM

In this week's print edition and on this snazzy web presentation, you'll find an expansive project featuring stories and photos from the entire length of Sprague Avenue. We've spent the past month with our notebooks and cameras out in Airway Heights, downtown, Auto Row, Liberty Lake and everywhere in between, and we found some stories we think you'll love. We even commissioned an original poem from Spokane's first-ever poet laureate Thom Caraway.

As a part of the project, Inlander art director Chris Bovey and staff writer Jacob Jones strapped a GoPro camera to a car, a golf cart, a miniature train and a dirt bike to make the video below. It covers the entire length of Sprague and features a song from local band Summer in Siberia. Enjoy!
