Give Peace a Chance To the well intentioned crazy lady who was there making my final moments more difficult, or as you put it: thanks for the nuts, but I am concerned you're nuts. I want you to know that what hurt in my experience the most was the sound of your voice screeching in my ears as his bike sped away, how I wish he had taken me with him rather than leave me with you blathering on about what a poor little creature I was and what a big nasty mean man he was who shouldn't breed, and deserves to die by being hit by a bus. Leaving the world witnessing this kind of violence was one of many painful experiences of my life that includes experiences as varied as seeing the emotionally exhausted parent yanking his child by the arm when he paused to say hi to me scampering about or listening to the murmuring of broken hearts shuffling around at night looking for a place to sleep, longing for the home they have never had. This kind of lashing out at others is a big part of what is wrong with the world. The cycle of violence must stop...forgiveness is the answer while questions are answered, pain is grieved, and justice is sought. I hold no ill feelings for this innocent biker who was just riding along doing his best to obey the laws of the bike path, nor do I against you. PS Thanks for being with me while I died, we're all a little crazy and it is nice that we don't have to be alone in that.
