Spokane’s Notorious Graffiti Alley

You see it everywhere. Scribbles. Graffiti tagging covers the industrial corridors and train tracks throughout downtown Spokane. At the heart of the vandalism is the Crescent Warehouse. The notorious glass-covered alleyway is an unintentional — and illegal — art gallery.

Here are a bunch of pictures I took of the alley for my story this week on Justo Luis Rodriguez and his work painting murals on urban structures.
