After we published this story last week about a long-lost box of photos in Post Falls, Patrice McLean got in touch about a photo album she found 17 years ago when she moved into her home in the Shadle area.
The almost-filled album was tucked away in a drawer in the garage, possibly by tenants who rented the house between owners. McLean asked around the neighborhood, but didn’t find any leads.
“No one seemed to know about it,” she says.
Most of the photos show scenes of college life at Eastern Washington University, with dorm rooms and Halloween costumes and homecoming dresses. The hairstyles and clothes — and a Beauty and the Beast poster — indicate the photos are probably from the early ’90s.
Three young women appear together in many of them, and one photo where they’re holding Christmas stockings gives a clue to their names: Michele, Julie and Tara.
It would be great to see this album reunited with their owners, so if you know anything send me an email at [email protected].
