R.A. the Rugged Man's show canceled

Posted By on Thu, Sep 26, 2013 at 11:10 AM

This morning, it was announced on both R.A. the Rugged Man’s and The Center’s Facebook pages that the two will not be working together come Friday. That’s right, due to “circumstances beyond The Center’s control,” the show is not happening. The Center posted the following:

*** FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ****
September 26, 2013 - 9:25 am
Due to circumstance beyond our control, the R.A The Rugged Man show scheduled for 9/27/13 has been canceled. All tickets will be refunded.

R.A. the Rugged Man had a different take on what went down, posting:

There will be NO R.A. the Rugged Man SHOW at THE CENTER in SPOKANE, WASHINGTON. These amateur f---s are advertising it BUT I have not been paid.

Unfortunately, our preview story on R.A. is in our most recent issue that hit stands this morning. However, it really is still worth taking a look at and even gives some insight as to how the cancelation may have taken place.

UPDATE: We reached out to Quinn Tanzer of The Center to see what he had to say about the claim that R.A. the Rugged Man wasn't paid. He declined to elaborate, but says: "I can tell you that's not the case."
