MB: Teen pleads guilty to killing Delbert Belton; details on the suspects in the Charlie Hebdo attack in Paris

17-year-old Kenan Adams-Kinard, one the suspects accused of beating WWII veteran Delbert Belton to death in August 2013, pleaded guilty to first-degree murder yesterday. Upon sentencing, Adams-Kinard faces 20 years in prison at minimum, with credit for time served. (Inlander)

A man was arrested for leaving his two-year-old son alone and shivering in a car for five hours near Manito Park on Tuesday. The toddler is alive thanks to a clerk at a Conoco station, who alerted the police. (S-R)

Three wrongfully convicted men who spent four years in prison based on faulty information from a jailhouse informant are suing the state for compensation. (S-R)

French investigators are searching for two brothers, Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi, suspected of launching yesterday's deadly attack at the Charlie Hebdo offices in Paris. A third suspect turned himself in yesterday afternoon. (New York Times)

The younger brother, Cherif Kouach, was imprisoned years earlier for his involvement with a terrorist network linked to al-Qaida. (Guardian)
