Josh Bell is a freelance writer and movie/TV critic based in Las Vegas. He has written about movies, TV, and pop culture for Vulture, IndieWire, Tom’s Guide, Inverse, Crooked Marquee, and more. He's been writing about film and television for the Inlander since 2018. With comedian Jason Harris, he co-hosts the podcast Awesome Movie Year.
A graduate of Amherst College, Josh is the former film editor of Las Vegas Weekly and former TV comedies guide editor for About.com. He's a member of the Las Vegas Film Critics Society, the Critics Choice Association and the Television Critics Association. His favorite movie of all time is Heathers, and his favorite TV show of all time is The X-Files. He was once insulted on-camera by Jamie Kennedy in a documentary.
