When one of my friends from college got married, their parents gave them a lump sum of money to put on their wedding. And their parents purposely gave them enough money so they would have some left over so they could give it to their friends. And so they gave me some of that money so I could pay off my student loans, which was totally unexpected and nice.

The last time I moved, my friends helped me pack and unpack and then threw me a really nice housewarming party.

The greatest gift I've ever been given was when I was in elementary school, my family moved to Michigan from California but Dad stayed behind in California to work. On my birthday he drove halfway across the country nonstop to make it there on my birthday.

I just love when people pay it forward. I was at Dutch Bros. one day and when I pulled up they said that my coffee had been paid for by the person in front of you, so then I paid for the person behind me. It really made my day.

My kids and I were at the mall and because we had just moved, I didn't realize you had to bring in the parking ticket and had to pay for parking with cash, which I didn't have. But then this lady gave me money to pay for my parking. That was really nice.
