Last Thursday, the team offered a sold-out "Ballpark Dinner To Go," and this week it continues to accept preorders, while supplies last, for the next installment, "Walking Taco Tuesday."
Orders are open until all available meals are sold, or through Sunday, May 31, for the $40 meal kit for four that comes with four "walking taco" kits; taco ingredients mixed into a nacho cheese Doritos chip bag — ground beef, corn, black beans, lettuce, cheese, sour cream and fiesta ranch — along with sides of tater tots, rice and beans and churros.
The meals will be ready for pick up next Tuesday, June 2, from 4-6 pm at Avista Stadium. For each meal kit purchased, the Spokane Indians are making a donation to Second Harvest that covers the cost of four meals.
During its first family meal promotion distributed last week on May 21, the Indians were able to donate more than 2,600 meals to Second Harvest.
