Conor Oberst and Bright Eyes will play the Knitting Factory on May 14.
Good news, Spokane: Your summer's about to get a little more tuneful. The Knitting Factory announced three big upcoming concerts today, and they run the gamut from funk to indie folk to electro-pop.
Ticket cost has yet to be announced, but we will update pricing information when it's available.
First up, the R&B revivalists
California Honeydrops are bringing a little sunshine to the Inland Northwest on May 3. They started as buskers in San Francisco, and they bring that same scrappy energy to their live shows.
Indie-pop royalty
Bright Eyes announced their reunion earlier this week, and their upcoming tour swings by Spokane on May 14. The trio fronted by songwriter Conor Oberst hasn't released a studio album since 2011, but they're reportedly working on new material now.
And Canadian electronic artists
Purity Ring are due to hit the Knit's stage on June 1. The duo of Megan James and Corin Roddick just announced a new album called
WOMB, due out April 3.
Tickets for all three shows go on sale this Friday, Feb. 21, through
Ticketweb.
