Super Volunteer
Nearly 20 years ago, Leonard J. Lemay helped organize the Senior Volunteer program for the Spokane Police Department, putting in thousands of hours before (and after!) his 1997 "retirement." Now the SPD's award for Volunteer of the Year has been renamed in his honor: the Lemay Award. And on March 21, Leonard J. Lemay turned 104 years old. Some people lead fuller lives than others.
Antiques on Wheels
That dusty old sideboard down in the basement? The one you dump dirty laundry on? It's worth thousands.... We interrupt this fantasy to alert you that PBS' Antiques Roadshow will make a stop at the Spokane Convention Center on Aug. 4, and that you have until April 21 (postmark deadline) or, at the very latest, May 3 (online deadline) to submit your ticket requests. Visit www.pbs.org/roadshow or www.ksps.org.

Worst of Best Of
If our president and attorney general can say it, then we can too: In our Best Of issue, mistakes were made.
We misidentified a local confectionary: It's Halletts Chocolates.
In just five years, Spokane's Coaches vs. Cancer charity events have raised nearly $2.1 million for the American Cancer Society and other local cancer-fighting organizations. This August's black tie dinner will be at the Davenport Hotel and will be jointly hosted by Mark and Marcy Few.
Kerr's Italian Kitchen, downtown at 113 N. Bernard St., is independently operated and is no longer affiliated with Landmark Restaurants.
Despite an incorrect ad, our Spring Dining Guide will appear on April 12.
The MAC's correct phone number is 456-3931.
The morning show "Dave, Ken and Molly" is broadcast over radio station ZZU.
And we neglected to mention that Black Tie Coffee was named North Idaho's Best Drive-Thru Espresso.
