Embrace the good
Spokane psychologist Leslie Blevins is posting free vlogs aimed at helping parents cope with their own stress as well as ways to help children amid the coronavirus outbreak. Each soothing video lasts 5-15 minutes and Blevins plans to tackle various topics including how parents can answer kids' questions and assist with maintaining learning, as well as offering tips to manage anxiety — for all of us.

Parents with specific questions can send them to: [email protected].

Looking to ease symptoms of sports-spectator withdrawal?

School's in session
Parents can get a break and kids can spend some time each weekday engaged in learning activities through free online courses being offered by Scholastic on its website. Choose the appropriate age bracket from four options and let the schooling begin.

Our active learning journeys are available on any device and will provide your child with up to three hours’ worth of exciting learning experiences per day. They can go on virtual field trips, meet best-selling authors, or dig deep into a topic they love.
