Former Mariner Edgar Martinez was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame this weekend, offering a meaningful speech to a crowd of proud supporters, the Seattle Times reports.

Downtown Hope
This fall, Hope House women's shelter plans to break ground on a new, much larger facility to help deal with overcrowding at their current facility and include more types of services aimed at getting people out of the cycle of homelessness, the Spokesman reports.
