Boy charged in Kent officer's death
A 16-year-old boy is charged with second-degree murder in the death of a Kent police officer. Emiliano Garcia led police on a high-speed chase after a night of drinking turned violent. The chase ended after at least one of Garcia's tires were punctured and the pickup truck he was driving, with two 17-year-old passengers, flipped. Officer Diego Moreno, 35, was hit by a pursuing police SUV after he laid out spike strips. (

Alzheimer's drug breakthrough
