Having nun of it
A crowd of about 100 people gathered in Spokane last night to tell the Department of Ecology what they think should be considered in the environmental review for a proposed silicon smelter in the Newport area. Mass atrocities
A new 400-page report released by the United Nations condemns the "highest levels" of the Myanmarese military for war crimes against the country's Rohingya Muslim population. About 10,000 were killed in the first months of a brutal crackdown. Close to 1 million have fled the country. (Vox)
Camping in Boise
