Spokane County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man purportedly connected with Sunday's local drive-by shooting that killed a woman. The arrest was made after a high speed car chase. (Spokesman-Review)

The Downtown Spokane Partnership is offering up to $2,500 in matching funds for property owners in downtown who take action to decrease nuisance and criminal behavior through the design of buildings and landscaping.
