Taking the plea
A Spokane Police officer pleaded guilty to helping his daughter after she assaulted a woman. The plea agreement brought his felony charge down to a misdemeanor. He will be placed on paid administrative leave while the Spokane Police Department conducts its own investigation. (Spokesman-Review)

Pay bump
