IGOR
John Cusack plays an Igor. That's right, an Igor. In Malaria, a land of evil geniuses, there's one Igor for every mad scientist. All they're trained to do is pull the switch on whatever nefarious scheme their boss cooks up. Cusack's Igor, though, doesn't want to just be another Igor. He's got, like, aspirations. (LB) Rated PG
LAKEVIEW TERRACE
Samuel L. Jackson is a middle-class black man (and a cop) who likes to welcome his new middle-class white neighbors to the cul-de-sac by preying on their fear of lower-class black men. Patrick Wilson gets that treatment first hand. When the new neighbor doesn't kowtow to Jackson's alpha-male, leader-of-the-block mentality, things get a little dangerous for him. (LB) Rated PG-13
MY BEST FRIEND'S GIRL
Jason Biggs (he's still alive!) rushes things with Kate Hudson -- tells her he loves her and, when that scares her, asks if they can move in together, then she dumps him. So he asks his BFF Dane Cook, who happens to get paid to be a jerk to women so they'll go back to their boyfriends (how's that for taking the long view when selecting BFFs?), to be a jerk. Trouble is, Dane and Kate soon find themselves falling in a crazy little thing called love. (LB) Rated PG-13
