I was fortunate enough to be able to go to the NCAA's last week. This was a great event, & the City should try and host more like it. Riverfront Park looked great and Spokane made a good impression upon those visiting here. It just so happens that my Alma Mater was one of the schools playing that day, and I was very proud to say "I live here"! To the Zags and fans: This season Gonzaga started out unranked, and then turned things around and made a REALLY impressive effort. So they fell short- big deal. You don't succeed if you don't have the courage to fall down. Trust me- the Zags WILL be back.
