Founded in Tennessee and now based partially in Montana, Band of Drifters fuses those wildly divergent geographical climes — the rustic drawl of the American South with the wide open spaces of Big Sky country. It’s the project of singer-songwriter Ian Thomas, who takes influence from Americana, folk and blues, which means that even new songs sound like classics. He’s currently on tour as a duo, which brings him to Di Luna’s in Sandpoint for what promises to be an intimate show. Call the restaurant to make reservations; dinner is served before the show at 6 pm.
