For three weekends, thousands of pumpkins take over the West End of downtown Spokane. Join Brick West Brewing Co. for the Great Pumpkin Fest, a multi-week autumnal extravaganza benefiting Project ID, a nonprofit supporting adults with intellectual disabilities, and Love Your Neighbor Foundation, which aids neighbors in need. All you’ve got to do is head to the brewery and pick out your favorite pumpkin from Joshua Loera, aka the Pumpkin Cowboy. In addition to everyone’s favorite gourd, there will be furry friends from 2nd Chance Petting Zoo, free live music, line dancing and face painting. Bust out the blanket scarves and beanies — oh, and maybe a beer or two, too — because the Pumpkin Cowboy is coming to town!
